So my company was mentioned on the first page of the NYT business section last week. The article also appeared online. The online version displayed a direct link to my website, while the print version had no link (obviously). It was exciting watching my traffic more than double for the day ... But what really fascinated me was seeing how many people took to Google to learn more about my company after reading about it in the print edition. Using Google webmaster tools "search analytics" I was able to see a spike in searches for "Hearing Tracker" on the day of the NYT piece.
