Assume someone has no coding experience what so ever. How would they go from 0 to deep learning novice

I think a person in such a position probably needs to start looking for what does and does not work for them as an individual in order to develop an ability to evaluate the suggestions of other people. Or, to put it another way, the best resource is the motivation to start and the willingness to struggle.
