A right to have your healthcare information stored only offline

1 点作者 jonthepirate超过 7 年前
In the end, key databases will be hacked and all user information will be exposed either via inside job (Chelsea Manning) or an external bad actor, such as what happened with Equifax.
WHEN a major healthcare database gets hacked, there will be extensive private information disclosed publicly about all of us. You'd be able to type someone's email or phone number to see if they've ever had an abortion, or an STD etc.
Should it not be a right to opt to have your personal medical records not be stored electronically?

You mean like how doctor's offices used to do with folders that anyone who could get behind the counter could access?
