I know this issue might not affect many of you, and I don't know if anyone will care, but besides being a developer, I also run a marketing agency. Therefore, I am signed into multiple Instagram accounts on my device. Facebook/Instagram still does not handle multiple user accounts properly, and they need to be called out for ridiculously bad engineering.
I posted a series of Instagram stories to one client's account a few minutes ago. Instead of posting to that account, the stories posted to that of another client (I was logged into the proper one). This is a common occurrence. It is astonishing to me that a software company with over 20,000 employees and $27 billion in revenue could have this problem and have it for this long. This is not a brand new feature.
There are also serious issues with linking to Facebook accounts. I've created new accounts, specifically not linking my Facebook account because I wanted to run them anonymously, only to have friends tell me they got a notification saying "Your Facebook friend, Paul Jaworski is now on Instagram as x".
This would be unacceptable for a 10 person company. Get your shit together, Facebook.
