Any case studies, research or projects about industrial operation optimization using AI/ML?<p>There's a lot of vendor-driven noise out there - but nothing with numbers, metrics or success stories.<p>What I'm interested in is facility/plant operation optimization using machine learning. My, slightly naive, vision is that plant operations can be modeled using neural networks (and there are some evidence that it works on a small scale) - but I can't seem to find prior public work done in that area.
