I’ll be brief; our product here at BackerKit is growing like crazy, and I’m looking for a few good folks to come pair with us as we ramp up this year.<p>We are a small, agile, Ruby shop who love to pair program, and I’m looking for a few special someones who can help grow our product for our thousands of customers and millions of users. Our engineering team has always been small (we believe this helps us stay close to our customers), but we have a few exciting things on the roadmap which means it's time to DOUBLE OUR HEADCOUNT… from 3 to 6!<p>My dream situation is to get to Agile TDD Nirvana: “Three pairs”. One pair working on big new features, one pair iterating on live stuff, and another pair working with customers and fixing bugs we totally didn’t write last week. Specifically, I’m looking for two more “Tech Lead”-y folks, and maybe one mid or adventurous junior dev to round out the team.<p>We are kind of a weird company. We are YC W13, but never raised any real VC, but mostly just because our customers just kept buying our software and we kept making it better. We like it keep it simple, well tested, and make sure everything we ship is super impactful for our customers.
