There has been many industry trends (Spotify, for example) and process trends (Agile's cross-functional teams) that provide an opinion on how to best structure a SW business unit.
But I'm seeking HN's tried and proven feedback on what works and what doesn't when putting together business unit consisting of multiple teams that ultimately should produce working software for internal consumers in an enterprise organisation.
How do you structure development & operations? and what do you make of the modern DevOps & SRE approaches?<p>on a more specific note, does a dedicated DevOps team that services other development teams work? or is it an ani-pattern as suggested by some?
