Add one more item to the list -- annually, on December 31st, dust off a long article of blindingly obvious advice, change the year to the next, and submit it to Hacker News.
Don't do many of these. Reaching out and asking for someone to link to you is a waste of time. Make great content, participate in the relevant online community, and you'll automatically get links. Don't use JS to add your url after someone copies and pastes.
