Ask HN: Is it ethical to bypass rate limiting?

Assuming the service is not being abused (20 requests / second vs a requested 10 / second). Is it ethical to bypass rate limiting? Where do you draw the line?

Send them an email, they might not be aware their rate limit is too restrictive.
