Totally agree with need to assess when comfort crosses into stagnation. I'm 10+ years in the same division at my employer thought not in the same team. But I've become bored particularly on getting rid of hand me down tech debt I (with others) eliminate. To that I wrote a proposal in distributing computing, which got picked up in another division. Looking to see if a transfer makes sense. Probably should have done this 2-3 years ago.
