I want to learn how to find a job that allows me to become an expert and has realistic expectations.<p>They all ask for the world. I'm expected to be an expert in multiple languages and become an expert in a new stack in months, all without training and while switching back and forth between tech. If you want me to become a Python expert, then give me a steady diet of Python work. I don't see any path forward and I'm tired of being treated like I'm disposable.
