As someone that's worked remotely for the last 10 years I don't understand decisions like this.<p>What's changed? Dropbox is a web company and I'd expect the majority of their management to know about remote work tools prior to the pandemic.<p>So they just didn't think it could work?<p>Heck any large company has multiple offices with some people in those separate offices working together. That's a distributed team already.<p>I can't believe they just didn't put 2 and 2 together until they were forced to.
