I wrote a step-by-step implementation of the majority of Crank.js’s component model. I was sort of sad to see what’s happened to Hacktoberfest so I wanted to do this writeup to encourage contributions. Took me an extra week or two to finish though.<p>It might take an hour-ish to read, but there’s some good descriptions of advanced techniques for working with JS iterators and promises, and thought maybe the Hacker News audience would appreciate that.
