Reddit removes sort by “Controversial” on comments ability

Maybe they will replace it with an AI-powered option: "Show only comments that confirm my pre-existing worldview".

Classic reddit. Sorting by controversial is the only way to read subs like r&#x2F;politics.<p>Looks like old.reddit.com (and Apollo app) are unaffected, for now. Not sure if that sorting is done client side or server side?

How else are they going to suppress wrongthink.
