Walmart’s PhonePe past Google Pay in India as UPI tops 2B monthly transactions

Google pay has been slow and unreliable for weeks now. I wonder what's gone wrong? Phonepe is also running a high-profile ad campaign on IPL matches. So makes sense that people are switching.
