Journos seem to be doing two things for their readers - meeting psychological needs or meeting informational needs.<p>This is the age of Info and whats missing is rankings based on specific needs of the reader.<p>On Stackoverflow its easy to find the top people on the planet who have accumulated a lot of knowledge about some obscure system or some specific topic about a well known system. Something like that is missing in Journalism.
