I found rajesh-s' thread [1] from last year to be an extremely valuable resource for knowledge and entertainment. I'd love to see a 2020 version (especially given explosion in popularity of podcasts this year).
Some of my favourites I've listened to this year have been Dan Carlin's Hardcode History "Blueprint for Armageddon" series, Freakonomics Radio "Does Advertising Actually Work?" (very recent!) and The Blindboy Podcast "Graham Norton". Enjoyed some episodes from the Darknet Diaries and the Indie Hackers too.
[1]: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22027315
Difficult topic, but found it very valuable:

Handwashing became less important than mask wearing, but The Memory Palace did a fantastic episode of 20-second stories for hand washing:
https://thememorypalace.us/music-to-wash-hands-by/
He recently named it his Episode of the Year, despite it being only November, because there was nothing going to top it.
