Parler (Login) Is Down

Most likely unable to handle the influx of users... Most social networks don&#x27;t have a political drive to exodus (forced and voluntary) from other sites.<p>It doesn&#x27;t even resemble organic.

(With tongue planted firmly in cheek) Poor Gab. They were just too early to market.<p>In all seriousness though, it will be very interesting to see where things go with &#x27;alt&#x27; services and whether or not this will just mean screencaps and reposts in the established publishers.

I have a Parler account but lost app on my phone. It wont let me re download the app again. I was able to get back in to my account through Google &quot;Parlor login &quot; but they might take this away. How can I get the app on my phone again? Please help!!

Good. Why exactly is this important Hacker News?<p>Parler was banned rightly because they are allowing speech that encourages domestic terrorism. ( such is not free speech and is illegal under US law )

Account registration is also non-functional. Is this an attack? Is the purpose to make conservatives feel as if they have no place to go online? If Twitter promotes the worst possible interpretations of @realDonaldTrump&#x27;s final 2 tweets, then there is no reason why I should not do the same in regards to this event.
