I use Firefox mostly cuz google gets too much of my info already, to use Chrome.
I also make _heavy_ use of containers with firefox. I have containers for everything from clients to banking to gaming. I even have a 'low sec' container with no ad-block or privacy extensions.
I use Opera mainly because it has built-in mouse gestures [0]
[0] - https://help.opera.com/en/latest/shortcuts/#mouseGestures
I switch between Firefox and Chrome. Love Firefox, but for heavier websites and apps, Chrome unfortunately just performs so much smoother. For example I have to use google drive and onedrive to edit documents throughout my day - it's literally night and day between FF and Chrome.
At this point I can only hope that google docs, onedrive, and other bloated webapps get optimized to run on other browsers. I'm not holding my breath.
Firefox because I don't wanna give any more power to Google than they have already. Additionally I like supporting a browser not built by a megacorp which is as functional as the megacorp's browser.
Safari: Main Identity, Shopping and such.
Brave: Research and secondary social media.
Firefox: Used as dedicated threema client.
Opera: if I need a quick VPN or to bypass my pi-hole.
