Russia hasn't disposed of 34 tons of plutonium. It's our fault. (2018)

Well now, this seems like an article that should be on the front page now and again. Awareness of the persistent imminent threat of nuclear armegeddon should beat most posts on <framework>.

Does not compute because <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;en.wikipedia.org&#x2F;wiki&#x2F;BN-800_reactor" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;en.wikipedia.org&#x2F;wiki&#x2F;BN-800_reactor</a> is operational and follow up <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;en.wikipedia.org&#x2F;wiki&#x2F;BN-1200_reactor" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;en.wikipedia.org&#x2F;wiki&#x2F;BN-1200_reactor</a> delayed a little bit, but not off the table.

Interestingly it seems 34 tons of plutonium would be 1.71 cubic meters.
