The biggest advantage to this category to technology is load bearing. Per My godson, he never went on patrol with less than 25kg hanging off of his body.<p>Perhaps they can have some level of immunity to penetration by 12mm + rounds. But this type of bullet has an insane amount of kinetic energy. So it is gonna knock the crap out of you and take you out of the battle, and you may not be effective again for the next battle. At less than 500m, you are probably toast after receiving a M2 round.
