> Despite restrictions on its business within the country, the company struck a deal, reportedly valued at $10 million, with Amazon for 1,500 thermal cameras<p>This is just depressing. I just sat through an Amazon virtual career fair presentation where they talked about leadership, agility, and serving customers. In any other context I would apply to Amazon as a student, those values are nice and they have really interesting technical challenges. However, I do not understand why they would willingly do business with a company building infrastructure to perpetuate crimes against humanity. I'm sure there's ways to make money without getting mixed into this shit. I don't want to be complicit, so I guess I'll keep searching.
