I have been running various linux distros on laptop/desktop/servers since I was in diapers and can say they are very stable and ready for the masses ... Ubuntu 20.04 is a solid choice ... whenever a neighbor moans about their slow PC I convince them to allow me to cut over to a fully Ubuntu box to free them from the malaise of those two legacy OS choices ( MS and osx ) ... all it takes is courage to take the leap ... long live linux
"Works for Me" (TM)<p>But then, luckily, I've never had to use Windows as my personal daily desktop. I used UNIX from 1991 to 2001, then have used Linux ever since.<p>Also, I pick Lenovo hardware, with Intel peripherals.
Maybe we should look at the state of Linux on mobile.<p>Android is based on Linux and has a marketshare of about 85 pct according to a quick internet search.
