Web Frameworks: Why You Don’t Always Need Them

I am trying to build something useful without a web framework. I decided to try V. It looks promising but still very much in pre-alpha phase. so a lot bugs and missing features for what I would consider to be basic things...its been though, turns out the most challenging thing I came across was how to properly load js files in correct order.

The article states a stackless approach can't work "at scale." I think people who use web components will argue that web components are great when you're working at scale. (Disclosure: I'm quoted in the article.)
