Filecoin Now Has a Global Capacity of 2.5B Gigabytes

Should probably spell out billion. I initially read it as 2.5gb. Or maybe use a larger unit since this is a more tech focused site.

Is anyone using filecoin around here not for messing around or hobby stuff that could share their opinion of the product?<p>I really like the approach protocol labs has taken with libp2p, multiformats, ipfs and the like and it seems quite a few companies are leveraging these technologies day to day. I wonder if it’s the same case with filecoin or if it is still too early for people to have given it a shot.

I am a huge crypto enthusiast, and it is cutting edge technology that HN users might love. But I would be very careful with these kind of posts. This is a very slippery slope to shilling and posting updates from the various projects that usually mean very little.
