Can someone give an insight what's happening with Google?
The search engine is becoming worse by the month, YouTube is full of bugs, Android issues never get resolved and new versions are barely worth calling a "new version" for the last couple of years.
Some of the development teams are booted out like the internal studio for games for Stadia and projects like Angular are seeing mass exoduses.
Seriously, anyone have any clue what's happening? Is it toxic people/management pushing out talent?
I don't have any clue either but I think Google is changing from a young company to an established one (think Apple). Before, they were ambitious and actually worked for the people, but now, they are unstoppable so they ought to do what they want.
It's a shame that they are now even more profit-seeking than seeking customer's satisfaction.
They also closed many services which were not profitable for them like Poly, Daydream and are now even removing the free backup option in Google Photos.
I think they now know they have became a strong company. They are unstoppable.
