CSS Still Sucks

HTML5 and CSS for layout and design are totally bonkers.<p>In combination with Javascript for application delivery they have always been a fraud.<p>Do people think that browser standards makers are going to genuinely support a system that enables their app stores to be bypassed?<p>There only two browser developers in the market now, Google and Apple, Mozilla barely counts. Apple is more interested in apps and Google only cares for the web because that is how they earn their income.

I, for one, do think designers need to be held back. Especially the ones that value attractivity and modernity above everything else to the detriment of accessibility and user interaction. I remember well the frustration with Flash-only webs.
