Hey hackers. For the past three years, I've been working on LearnObit: a tool that helps users learn information as quickly as possible using various learning theories and tricks.
When I first started programming, I used Anki and the old tried-and-tested spaced repetition algorithm. It was great for word-pairing (e.g., learning foreign languages), but didn't work for more complex, general topics like Mathematics or Physics.<p>This drawback has led to spaced repetition being overlooked, despite its proven effectiveness in learning and retention.<p>I wanted to unlock this effectiveness for a wider audience — that's why I made LearnObit, a notetaking tool that lets you structure complicated information and learn it as easily as possible using spaced repetition and other learning features.<p>It's been a year since I released it to the public. For a while, people told me they loved the concept but found the interface lacking — yet finally, I think the tool is developed enough to be useful.<p>If you take learning seriously, you need to check it out.
