OpenRA Release 20210321 (and new website)

OpenRA is an absolutely amazing open source effort. After COVID made some of my regular meetups with friends difficult, we started playing OpenRA on a regular basis. The retro gaming feel, rock-solid playing experience, a vibrant online community with excellent, commented screen-casts on youtube (looking at you, FiveAces) make this all a very pleasant experience, run entirely by volunteers. Thank you!

My friend and I were obsessed with C&amp;C RA in the late 90s. This was the first &quot;multiplayer&quot; game I really played. We would play over the dial up modem, but both of us had only one phone line so it was frequent that we would lose the game connection because of sisters who would pick up the phone and yell in to it to break our connection.<p>It was a remarkable game. It&#x27;s incredible to see how for OpenRA has come!<p>If somebody does an open source C&amp;C Generals (that runs on Linux), I&#x27;d be in heaven.

Does it have campaign mode? Last time I tried it few years ago, it only allowed to start arbitrary maps like in multiplayer.<p>Upd: seems that no, it doesn’t. Since C&amp;C has been remastered, could someone please compare them? I&#x27;ve used to play C&amp;C, mostly play OpenRA now but saw the NoClip documentary (<a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.youtube.com&#x2F;watch?v=7MUDQYWk6qY" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.youtube.com&#x2F;watch?v=7MUDQYWk6qY</a>) about the remaster and almost bought it. But I&#x27;m still unsure.

Nice to see some Dune 2000 improvements. Still need to get back and finish that game
