Good. Apple, and Google for that matter, have been running wild with what can only be called "tariffs".
They take an insane cut from what could be considered shelf space. The argument has always been that filtering, monitoring, and curating these stores justify the price, but we have learnt that these so called filters are letting in all sorts of malware.
Then, they want to take a cut from recurrent payments, which would be acceptable if we were talking of a small percentage (many credit institutions already do that), but keeping another 30% is insane.
Apple has gone further, and not even links to other payment systems but theirs, are allowed.
And on top of making the whole experience of buying digital content from apps miserable, they preinstall competing apps on their devices, which have no such limitations.

For how many years I'm hoping for something like that against Apple and Google monopolies!
Very good news. Let's hope that the procedure will be successful and will open the way to more competition for appstore alternatives.
