Why Corporations Won’t Hire Remote Workers in Colorado

So you move to Wyoming (100 miles north of Denver) get the job then move back to your place in Denver? It's all about the hiring phase and salary disclosure isn't it. Once you're on board you can work from Colorado. Or am I missing something?

I worked remotely from Denver during most of 2020. This is just wrong. Maybe only dodgy corporations that want to cheat their employees say the work can't be performed in Colorado.
