The other ones would only seem like big asks if the management is more concerned about a having a sense of control more than pragmatic results.<p>I also question the last point. I don't know to what extent the signers care about the environment that they would do what's best for it, even if it didn't align with their other interests. Seems to me they're using it as another reason to get their way--although that seems justified to me without this item. IANA-negotiator so I can't say which way is more effective.
