Dramatic Crash of Buzzy Token ICP Raises Eyebrows

ICP experienced the ultimate bag unloading on its listing on Coinbase. Investors who had access pre-listing for fractions of a dollar where able to unload their bags for ~$500. Who wouldn&#x27;t take a 500x-5000x ROI?<p>It is however primed for a rebound after dropping over 90% in just a couple months. It already surged 40% in the last week and will climb much higher if BTC shows signs of recovery. I would never invest in ICP, but I would speculate on it given the right conditions.<p>ICP is one of those cryptos that promises the world, it will generate a lot of hype but the real test will be if they can actually deliver on their grand promises. I&#x27;m skeptical but wish them the best

ICP’s consensus protocol rips off Algorand, which was patented before ICP came into existence.<p>The key difference: users can only participate in consensus by locking their coins for a set period, facilitating a pump-and-dump by the founders and VCs.

The value of crypto coins is extremely volatile. Once one big party starts selling the price will drop and then everybody else starts selling too. It will be interesting to see if they can recover.
