Chinese youth rejecting the pressures of hustle culture by ‘lying flat’

I love to work hard but 9am-9pm 6 days a week and not be able to afford a house is absolutely crazy.

I always find ironic how the allegedly "communist" Chinese regime managed to create a system that basically has exploited workers for decades, in ways that are much worse than capitalistic countries. It really requires a lot of doublespeak to justify that.

I wonder how many of the 60%+ truly mean what they say instead of just following the current trendy thing.
