Having dealt with these things before the rules that the company is required to follow are very strict and even a single person from "management" could make an honest mistake and cause the election to be invalid. The union has to abide by almost no rules in this case...even highly pressured visits to your place of residence are not out of the question.<p>The addition of a USPS box in view of the surveillance cameras is questionable, but the ballots are not visible and Amazon would clearly want as many votes as possible so how would they know which way the individuals were voting?<p>I also really don't believe Amazon was tracking who picked up anti-union material at their mandatory meetings...thats never a good benchmark for if someone is pro or anti union. For all they know the person taking the material was doing so to take it back to the union to show what the company is pushing (it happened at my company with emails sent to all).<p>As we usually see, there will be never ending objections to the election until it slants in the union's favor and then that one will be the final one.
