This article seems to be conflating morality with paying attention to people in need.<p>I would call that “generosity”, perhaps. But when I see the word “moral” I think of things like:<p>* keeping one’s promises<p>* being honest<p>* being fair in one’s dealings<p>And I don’t see how Facebook or social media in general can affect that.<p>In my mind, if someone needs encouragement to act moral, then that person is not truly moral.
