I have seen a lot of arguments about how owning an EV while living in an apartment is a non-starter. Does this service change that equation? On the one hand, I think it does. Say, I'm going to the mall for shopping. I can order up some extra mileage while I'm there to get me home (or to the next mall). It also works if I'm at home and need some juice to get me to work.<p>However, I'm not sure it's a scalable venture. Could you do this every day? That seems expensive and a big hassle. Then again, maybe this service could be used to suggest future charging locations. "We get a lot of requests to charge in the Blah Complex, maybe we should look into installing something permanent there".
