Hello HN,
People who own smart watches is it worth it and has it improved your productivity in general.
I’m planning onto buying an apple watch probably going for SE since its cheaper and affordable.
The biggest reason I want an Apple Watch is to stay away from my phone but remain connected so I don’t miss important calls/texts
Apple Watch is probably ten years ahead of all the competition. It’s just an amazingly slick experience, while still being personalizable. Great fitness tracker as well.
I have a 6 but the SE is by all accounts just as capable. The pulse ox sensors etc on the 6 are not really worth the up charge for most users.
I have a Garmin Vivoactive 4S. Primarily I have it to keep the time but I like the heart rate monitor, activity tracking, music, etc. I set timers for pomodoro, making tea, alarms to wake up in the morning.
If you want to improve your productivity you should put your phone in the microwave and cook it. Seriously...
https://news.utexas.edu/2017/06/26/the-mere-presence-of-your...
