I don’t think it’s the lack of people with infosec skills, and complaining to CEOs about that seems to betray some disconnect with reality. Those with skills can make millions having Bitcoin wallets, or installing ransomware. The value of Bitcoin will dissuade those with skills needed from taking jobs at apple or google. Seems like more political grandstanding to me, with callous disregard for the actual victims, which depending on one’s perspective, includes the CEOs themselves.
