It's a good survey of the importance of IQ, subtitled "Selecting for smarts is important". Standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT are correlated with IQ and together with high school GPAs are predictive of college performance, but many Americans now believe in mandated equal results by race rather than equal opportunity. The lower average performance of Blacks and to a lesser extent Hispanics on all standardized tests (ACT and SAT, AP exams, NAEP, state-level achievement tests, and IQ tests) is wrongly causing them to be shunned.
