SF school board recall hits critical milestone to qualify for the ballot

Good. Those retired parents and community members standing outside of grocery stores, Peet’s&#x2F;Starbucks, farmers markets deserve this after all of their hard work.<p>Politics does not belong in public schools during a pandemic. The city attorney sued the board at one point demanding they produce a back to school plan last year. After a seven hour closed door school board session with their attorneys, their tone changed real quick after that meeting.<p>SFUSD is not a Petri dish to experiment on kids with real world politics.

One issue in SF is that the proportion of parents sending kids to public schools as a proportion of voters in these elections is very low. So you can run on a platform completely unrelated to education, win, and use it as a stepping stone to further office.

Don’t Asian Americans know they are on his list as well?” she tweeted. “Do they think they won’t be deported? profiled? beaten? Being a house n— is still being a n—. You’re still considered ‘the help.’ ”<p>What’s remarkable about these tweets is that they’re not some off-color joke or mocking someone for superficial characteristics. They reflect prejudice against Asians directed at their culture—labeling the things Asian parents teach their kids “white supremacist.” I can’t think of anyone else who publicly attacked Asians in this way in recent memory. Collins invokes Trump, but to my recollection he never attacked Asians for their culture like Collins has done.

Unfortunately I hit a paywall. Is this about the board members who shut down the only school with merit based admissions, tried to ban the names of historical figures from schools, and posted racist things on social media?

We need to recall the DA… but the embarrassingly woke school board is a start. Especially the grifter who sued SF for $80m…
