Why America Needs a Department of the Future

New Zealand used to have the Future's Commission in the 1980 to prepare for survival in case of nuclear war, and also separately technological change. Almost unknown now as swept away with "Shock doctrine" and neolib, closed 1982.

Lovely sentiment but this is all Congress's job.
