1/ Waterproof wall or dyke that shields the house.<p>2/ Waterproof doors and windows.<p>3/ Vent-like holes in the floor at the entrances that suck water and reroute it out of the house through a pump.<p>4/ Spray-on substance that can be used to seal doors and windows temporarily.<p>5/ Structural frame below the house that can lift it.<p>6/ House is mobile home which can be lifted by a crane.<p>7/ House is a house boat which can be untethered from the ground so it floats.<p>Do these sound workable? Any other ideas?
