I'm curious to see what features the next iPhone comes with -- if it's limited to things like screen refresh rates and 'better' 5G (with Qualcomm's X60) it won't be a super compelling update to people with iPhone 12s, but would be huge for anyone with an 11 or prior. I hope it's not just stuff like a better camera for taking pictures of the sky and some 120Hz refresh rates.
With the imminent (beginning of 2022) release of C-Band in the USA, anyone who upgrades every two years would benefit hugely from a phone that supports n77/n78 (as well as n48 when CBRS goes 5G). I wouldn't be surprised to see the Verizon CEO out there to talk about this, and a big push to get them in peoples' hands to alleviate network strain by having more phones capable of using more frequency.
Beyond that, I have high hopes for a 13"/14" M1/M2 MBP refresh, which would instantly become my next personal laptop.
With Apple's focus on Services revenue, I'm also quite curious to see what'll get launched this year.
