Epic Games Announce Full Easy Anti-Cheat Support for Linux Incl. Wine and Proton

This is a big step in gaming on Linux. One of the guys I play with regularly had a Windows install purely for EAC games.

So, uhh, how does EAC work on Linux? Do I have to let it sudo and insmod a kernel module…?
