Even mild cases of Covid-19 can leave a mark on the brain

This study would be much more believable if they had used pre- and post-infection scans from the same people instead of artificially constructing the comparison groups. The study needs to be carefully analyzed by data scientists; it’s just too easy to cherry-pick the groups and claim to have found a significant difference.

I have to say I'm sick and tired of these articles. I've developed severe anxiety in the last year where now I'm on meds after ending up in ER. I blame covid media coverage. Old people die, people get vaxxed, people get vaxxed and get covid, people don't get vaxxed and get covid, people get get covid then die of unrelated issues, people get some virus infection and develop long term side effects. I'd honestly rather die than struggle with these mental issues. Can we please stop at least here on hackernews?
