Tunisia appoints the first female leader of an Arab League nation

What does female leader mean? She's been named prime minister not president. I don't know about the middle East part of "the arab world" but Algeria and Morroco for sure have female ministers too.

I have not kept up on Tunisian politics but if someone else knows, I am curious if this is a positive result from the Arab Spring protests or if this is an unrelated change. I know that generally the Arab Spring is viewed as not having great outcomes, as with many revolutions, which is why I am asking.
