A very common workplace problem, where the know-it-all manager feels like he needs to overrule decision due to years of experience in the company, or insert himself into all aspect of a team to make sure all decision are made to his taste.
The people in the team are highly capable and teamwork is strong, but the constant interjecting of the manager makes the team inefficient and confused, which led to everyone burning out. It's the team vs the manager.
