This guy&#x27;s a fascist, full-stop: his biggest problem with the US is that we aren&#x27;t sufficiently subservient to the military. Very valid point however that the US is perhaps a little too focused on the past (also driven by revenue preservation for defense contractors) - while China more future focused.<p>The US needing to debate the ethics of AI however is exactly the kind of value difference w China that illustrates the West&#x27;s adversarial stance towards them.<p>China is and will be a real challenge because ultimately you can&#x27;t beat them by selling out your principles and becoming like them.
