Walgreens to Close Five San Francisco Stores on Shoplifting

Didn't SF have a ridiculous number of Walgreens stores at some point several years ago? Like aside from the issue of shoplifting, could they really afford that many stores in such a small area?

When governments decide not to punish criminals, this is what happens. Next step is the area is declared a food and services "desert" and lots of welfare funds are allocated because the greedy capitalists won't serve these vibrant neighborhoods.
